Step one
Design
Use our interactive online customizer to co-design your dream guitar, choosing everything from wood species and pickup selection to color schemes and hardware. Or start from one of our preset Signature Designs and tweak to your taste. Once you place your order our team of technicians will review your specifications and start building your guitar.
step two
Precision Milling
Our high-speed, state-of-the-art CNC machines mill your body, neck and fretboard to strict tolerances from your chosen wood species, ensuring repeatable reliability for the highest quality instrument

Fretwork
Our skilled luthiers install your choice of fretwire, then level, crown and polish the frets to ensure maximum playability with zero fret buzz and a light, effortless action up and down the neck.

Finishing
When the body and neck come off the CNC, they still need to be finish sanded by our technicians. Open-pored woods are then grain-filled before sealer and color coats can go on. Lastly clear coats of water-based finish are sprayed and allowed to cure before final buffing to a high gloss shine.

Electronics, Final Assembly & Setup
While the finish cures, we start on building the pickups and assembling the control wiring. We use full-size CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks and high-quality orange-drop capacitors. Our pickups are designed and built alongside our guitars in Southern California from the highest possible components. When everything is ready we put the guitar together and run through a rigorous set-up and QC check to make sure it plays beautifully before we ship.
